Merci beaucoup a Melony qui trouve toutes les links pour vous! Parceque nous vous aimons beaucoup! (et beaucoup ~)
Look at all of the lovely links.
Personal | Be Linked **Here is a lovely website with A TON of jrock bands. It's kind of like a history of JRockers. You click on a band and it will have current and past members, along with band the members were previously with. It's in Japanese, but easy enough to follow. It might help a bunch to Ctrl+F (if you're using windows) if you're looking for a specific band. Gardenia http://www.moonglow.nu/gardenia/ This site hasn’t been updated since September of 2002, but it has a nice gallery, profiles of the members (gackt-era until disbandment), and a relatively complete discography. Obsessions Never Die http://www.lerman.biz/asagao/ This site doesn’t seem like much—until you look at the translations. It has a small gallery, but also song translations for Merveilles and Voyage, Apres Midi, Kozi’s first solo single (Kinema/Khaos), a few of Monologue Theatre’s entries, and a couple interviews. It’s out-of-date, but for the most part, the translations are good. And considering what little material is out there for MM translations, it’s a good site. Butterfly Dream http://www.vacillation.net/kami/ A very beautiful site dedicated to Kami’s memory. Yu~ki no Kisho http://www.yuki-no-kisho.net/ This site was last updated in July of 2005, so it’s pretty up-to-date. It’s an unofficial Yu~ki fan site with links to translations of interviews, and they update whenever something new comes along that’s MM-related. For example, they posted when La Collection Merveilles was released, and when Momento was released. If Yu~ki comes out of hiding any time soon, I’m sure that they’ll be the first to update. Monophobia http://monophobia.scape.us/ This is a Moi-dix-Mois fan site. They have translations of some MXM interviews (given while MXM was in Germany, from what I’ve gathered), translations of songs, a decent gallery, and of course, biography/discography of the band. Mana Wannabe http://mana.germainetsui.net/ A step-by-step guide in case you ever wanted to look like Mana. Midi:Nette Official Site (Japanese/English) http://midi-nette.com Obviously the official site of Mana’s record label, Midi:Nette. Has links to the MM official site, the MXM official site, Mon Amour, and Monologue Theatre. Kozi Official Site (Japanese) http://kozi.info/ Kozi’s official site. YesAsia http://us.yesasia.com/en/ Most people already know about YesAsia, but in case you don’t… It’s basically the best site if you’re looking to import anime, manga, Jrock, etc, because none of the stuff is bootlegged (make sure you don't get any "overseas" versions of anything because some of those are bootlegs), and they’re very reliable for shipping, etc. The only problem is that you may not be able to find what you’re looking for. If you do, though, go with YesAsia, because they’re one of the cheaper import companies, and they accept all forms of payment. Tofu Records http://tofurecords.com/ This is the American Jrock record label. They’ve released music from bands like Laruku, X Japan, and TM Revolution here in America—and all of their Laruku stuff have extras that can’t be found on the Japanese version. Search their catalogue, or learn a little about the bands. :) J-Pop Help http://www.jpophelp.com This is another site where you can get imported Japanese things. Unlike YesAsia, they have magazines like Shoxx, etc, and I found Kozi’s solo stuff on sale here, but not at YesAsia. A word of warning, though: CHECK THE PHOTOS on the CDs. Some of them are bootlegs, so you’ll want to double check. But always check YesAsia first, because they are, overall, better. CD Japan http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/ I’ve never actually used this site myself, so I don’t know a whole lot about them, except that they have pretty much everything as far as CDs you may be looking for, and they’re not bootlegs. Also, I think you have to pay import fees, since they’re based in Japan. Otherwise…I don’t know, sorry! J-Fan http://www.j-fan.com/ Everything you need to know about being a fan of anything from Japan…if you just know where to look for it. I learned all about Region 2 DVDs from this site, along with where I can get a hold of a Region 2 player. They’ve also got extensive forums and their own radio station thing. YouTube http://youtube.com/ Thank Heather for this link. You can find a lot of JRock videos on this site, without having to download them and use up space on your computer. Now you don’t have to be the only one who hasn’t seen the Vanilla Live video! (I was for a while) Melony’s LJ http://www.livejournal.com/users/mythic_breeze Since I currently don’t have access to LJ because of…certain circumstances, you won’t see very many updates. But, once I get access again, you’ll see lots of updates. So, if you feel like reading all about my very (extremely) mundane life, go right ahead. Original Myth http://www.livejournal.com/community/original_myth/ This is a writing community that I started on LJ. We have a monthly writing challenge, and you can join and write, or feel free to just read whatever is up there. You can read just about everything I’ve ever written, too. Melony’s FictionPress.com Account http://www.fictionpress.com/~silvermyth Self-explanatory. Stories I’ve posted at fp.com. Just go there and leave feedback, because it’s so hard to come by on that site. Please! Mel’s DevART Gallery http://silvermyth.deviantart.com See pretty pictures that I’ve drawn and scanned! Mostly JRock and anime/manga fanart, but I’ve drawn a few other things, too, like characters from my original stories. If we don’t already have your site on our links list, it’s simple to get on it. Drop us an email, and we’ll check it out. So long as your site is amusing, informative, or appealing in some other way, we’ll give you a link on our site. Or, if you have something to contribute to our site (media, fanart, etc), we’ll link your site. Trust me, unless your site is a total piece of crap or has nothing to it, we’ll link you. |
