Funnies

Welcome! You have found the hidden Funnies page! That makes you special, because we’ve hidden it from you to make things more interesting. We hope it wasn't too hard to find. (This page is no longer hidden, though you can pretend that it is!) This page is dedicated to interesting facts, crazy theories, and random jokes that Heather and I have found or created. Amusez-vous bien!

Ju te veux
Ju te veux is track eight on Malice Mizer’s Merveilles CD. This should be “Je te veux” if Malice Mizer was trying to be French, and if they were, it means “I want you,” which actually is rather contradictory to the message of the song. Apparently Gackt or Mana, both of whom supposedly know French at least a little, missed this glaring mistake that even a beginning French speaker will notice.

Mana’s birthplace
Mana was born in Hiroshima. The United States dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima during WWII. I suspect that exposure to radiation from said bomb would explain a lot about Mana.

Gackt and Mana: Curry
Gackt supposedly left MM over “creative differences.” Heather and I have a different theory. Because Mana likes curry, and Gackt is famous for his curry (which takes him four days to make!), we suspect that Mana kicked Gackt out of MM because he either took too long to make said curry, or because he didn’t make it at all. (Klaha's curry probably wasn't as good as Gackt's, but at least it was made faster)

Mana’s obsession with the letter M
In case you haven’t noticed, Mana has named a lot of things to begin with the letter M: Monologue Theatre, Mon Amour, Moi-Même-Moitié, Midi:Nette, Malice Mizer, Moi-dix-Mois, and of course, his own name: Mana. Almost all of these can be found in a French dictionary. Surprisingly, Mana’s signature guitar’s name does NOT begin with the letter M. That would be Jeune Fille.

Mana and ILLUMINATI
In one of the scenes of the ILLUMINATI PV, Mana has a naked person on top of him. At first, Heather and I thought that it was Gackt, because it looked exactly like his hairstyle, though I was rather miffed by the tattoo on the person’s arm. After we had a chance to watch the Cinq Parallele DVD, however, we both realized that the person was not Gackt, and was in fact a flat-chested chick. And for some reason, that seems more wrong than the person being Gackt.

front et baiser
This is the third track of Moi-dix-Mois’s Dix Infernal CD. Check a French-English dictionary, and it means “forehead and kiss,” though the grammar is improper and it makes no sense. However, check with les jeunes français and you’ll find that the connotation of “baiser” is “to fuck.” Still improper and nonsensical, but Mana should tack on the articles so that people aren’t confused.

Mana and Kisaki Heather and I tend to believe that Mana is God. Obviously we're not particularly serious. However, apparently Kisaki believes himself to be God. Heather and I just think that Kisaki and Mana are alter-egos of each other, which is to say they are the same person.

Mana and Dir en grey Heather and I also have a theory that Mana was Dir en grey's bassist before Toshiya--as in, when they were La:Sadies. It goes hand-in-hand with the theory that Mana and Kisaki are the same person, because Kisaki was the bassist for La:Sadies. XDD
